Ants Vidéo 4 min, 2014 During my stay in Turkey between 2013 and 2014, I observed the country, which mixes its European identity and its relatively traditional and oriental value. The traditional value roots in the lifestyle. Nightlife not only for leisure but also for the continuation of the work of the day during the night- is for me a daily scene in Asia. Near my home in Eskisehir, a tram site was under construction. The tram operates in day time, so the workers have to work overnight to restore its startup in the morning. The lights lit the whole site as in a theater. Often in the evening, on a bridge not far from the site, I overlook these little anonymous characters who were busy repeating their mechanical actions. They looked like ants, silently fulfilling their fonctionnal works in the society.
